Simple, but charming bedsitter with  internet access for 2 with separate WC/shower, stunning views. The ' Little House ' is just that ! A stone, bungalow style cottage set to one side and a little back from our main house.

Simple, but charming bedsitter with  internet access for 2 with separate WC/shower, stunning views. The ' Little House ' is just that ! A stone, bungalow style cottage set to one side and a little back from our main house. The bed sitting room contains a double bed with a new mattress 1999 , table and chairs, 2 armchairs, clothes hanging and storage space etc.The purpose built kitchen corner is equipped with microwave, 2 ring electric hob, stainless steel sink/drainer, full size fridge, filter coffeemaker, electric kettle, toaster, iron and mini ironing board and ample cooking utensils, crockery, cutlery etc. Careful attention to detail and lighting give atmosphere and charm to this room, or so we are told.

The door gives on to a paved terrace (garden furniture,parasol and barbecue provided) with wide views across the valley, with its gentle landscape of fruit and melon farming, with some arable crops. We are on the outskirts of the tiny village of Trejouls, and our location is extremely quiet - the loudest noise at night is usually the frogs calling in the stream at the bottom of the valley.

A separate door from the terrace leads to the pale blue and white bathroom with, tiled shower, hand basin and WC.

Apart from its famed gastronomy and Cahors wines, the region has much to explore: French or English 'bastides' or medieval 'new towns', with their colourful street markets; Romanesque masterpieces; Roman remains; prehistoric cave paintings.... Easy walking country, with marked bridle-ways (hire a donkey down the road to carry your picnic...). Enjoy tennis on the village hard court (reached by a path through our woods), or golf on the 9-hole course only a few minutes drive away.

The rent includes linen and all utilities.
