France Dordogne Holiday house near Brantome. Self catering Dordogne farmhouse close to Brantome. Farmhouse to let near Brantome in the Dordogne region of South west France.

A recently restored old house in the hamlet of La Chataignade, only 4km from the beautiful market town of Brantome and the village of Champagnac de Belair.

The house has splendid views as it is situated on the top of a small hill and looks across fields and woodland. The large covered terrace runs the length of the house and down to the garden. There are garden tables and chairs and a barbecue.

The house comprises of:fully fitted kitchen with gas cooker, fridge, microwave and washing machine, a large open plan living / dining room with French doors leading out on to the covered terrace and a large stone fireplace housing a woodburning stove. A double bedroom with en suite shower room ( shower , hand basin, and W.C ) ; a twin bedroom also with en suite shower room.

The villages of Villars with its cave paintings, St Jean de Cole ( one of the most beautiful villages in France ) and Puyguilhem with its Chateau are all within a short distance. Shops , restaurants and leisure pursuits can be found nearby.
