Papillon is an exceptional Gîte with a very well equipped fitted kitchen including cooker, fridge, washing machine, dishwasher and microwave. Beautiful large vaulted and beamed sitting room with picture windows overlooking the private garden.

There are two twin bedrooms and one double bedroom. Bathroom with shower. Separate WC. Private garden with terrace, garden furniture and BBQ. The kitchen/diner has a wood burning stove. Bed linen and a generous welcome pack are provided. Internet access is available .

Delightful location, attentive & yet unobtrusive hosts and a thorough attention to detail that meant this was the 'easiest' & most stress free gîte holiday ever ... and that's what one goes on holiday for ... And the children got on superbly!!

On site: There is a troglodyte dwelling and a cave with table tennis, table football and an Internet connection from your own laptop. In the grounds are a badminton court and large football pitch, which are located away from the gîtes. Each gîte comes equipped with a games kit to utilise the facilities on site. Children's fishing in a neighbouring pond gives everyone a chance to catch their first fish.

In the area: canoeing, river beaches, trout and course fishing, mountain biking, golf, walking and riding. Brantôme ‘Venice of Périgord’ is 10 minutes away, Périgueux is 20 minutes, nearest restaurants and shops under 10 minutes away. Further afield Lascaux (cave paintings) and other prehistory sites are within easy reach. Cognac is 45 minutes away.
