The more than 300 year old house is situated in Coutures, 120 km North East of Bordeaux, on a smooth hiltop with breathtaking views over two valleys. You can reach the picturesque little village with a Romanesque church and a Templer House ( 13th Century ) within a 800m distance.

The park like area of La Croix Chabrol is 7000m2 with mature trees and a modern swimming pool ( 13m x 6m ).

The house has been completely restored to a very high standard during 2000.

Accommodation.

First Floor:- You will find a very comfortable kitchen - cum - living room 36m2 completely furnished with all you need ( including dishwasher, microwave, washing machine etc ) and a wood burning stove .There are additional electric radiators throughout the house and underfloor heating in the kitchen and the downstairs bathroom.

The Lounge ( 44m2) will offer you many possibilities to enjoy your stay, like open fireplace, TV ( French, English, German )HiFi , Electric piano, library there is also an additional brand new double sofa bed in the lounge area which does not encroach on the living area. Also on this floor is a brand new bathroom .

2nd Floor :-

Shower room and toilet . 2 large double bedrooms, one with wash basin facilities and one with an extra sofa bed plus one smaller room with a double bed.

Easy access to all your shopping facilities. Basics you will find in the little store of the restaurant in the village Coutures. ( n.b. Excellent regional food )

All necessary shops and Post Office are in Verteillac ( 4km ) and in the small market town of Riberac ( 12km ) you have 2 supermarkets, shops, bars, restaurants,banks and Post Office etc.

The market on a Friday is a must.

There are many culteral highlights and beautiful sighteeing places within a distance of only 30 -40 kms.

In a days trip places like Sarlat, Lascaux or the Atlantic coast can be reached..

You see - this will be the perfect place for your holidays. You will find peace while living like ' God in France '.
