Gites for holiday rentals with a pool in the Dordogne South West of France.

A traditional Dordogne farmhouse tastefully restored to provide good quality and very comfortable accommodation for 4 people and a baby. There is a 6meter private pool on the property.

Situated some 8km east of the market town of Riberac, in the countryside set on a hill with breathtaking views over the valley of the river Dronne. A further 35kms takes you to the historic town of Perigueux, the capital of the Dordogne region.

The detached property comprises : fitted kitchen with fridge, freezer, gas hob and electric wall oven. 1 large double bedded room and a twin bedded room, lounge with traditional beams, large stone fireplace with wood burner, ample seating and dining facilities , equipped with CD/cassette player, TV and Video; finally shower room with W.C. and vanity unit. Solar heated pool.

Through a set of French doors , at the back of the property, will lead you to the private back garden which has a patio area with garden furniture and a barbecue.

Also available on site is a one bed gite (Le Petit Noyer ref. 24719) that could be rented along with Le Grand Noyer to facilitate a group of 6, this gite comprises of:

Downstairs kitchen/lounge/diner, upstairs shower room and twin bedded room. The patio has garden furniture and bbq and also has use of the owners pool. This gite has been tastefully restored , is very comfortably furnished and makes cosy accommodation for 2 people. This could be let with Le Noyer to provide accommodation for up to 6 people and a baby.

Local amenities include river and lake swimming, horse riding, tennis, canoeing and mountain bike hire ( VTT ), excellent fishing locally.

Within a radius of 20km one can visit Brantome, the Venice of the Perigord region; the Chateau at Bordeilles, or the prehistoric caves at the Grotte de Villars. Slightly further afield are the beautiful towns of Sarlat and St Foy la Grande on the Dordogne river itself.
