Activities in the immediate area include: a superb golf course with inexpensive green fees, fishing (licence 30 Euros per week grants permission to fish anywhere on the Dordogne), bird-watching, walking, canoeing & kayaking, tennis, horse riding, hot air ballooning, gliding, local Bridge club.

The old bastide town of Ste Foy La Grande is quite beautiful and has an excellent Saturday market with a wealth of local produce and many other items. Bergerac with it's shops, boutiques & restaurants is just 15 minutes drive. The picturesque old town leads down to the river where boat trips are available in the summer.
