Activities in the immediate area include: a superb golf course with inexpensive green fees, fishing (licence 30 Euros per week grants permission to fish anywhere on the Dordogne), bird-watching, walking, canoeing & kayaking, tennis, horse riding, hot air ballooning, gliding, local Bridge club.
Village of Le Fleix with shops, petrol station, post office, super market and restaurant 1.5kms.
The old bastide town of Ste Foy La Grande, 7kms, is quite beautiful and has an excellent Saturday market with a wealth of local produce and many other items. Bergerac with it's shops, boutiques & restaurants is just 15 minutes drive. The picturesque old town leads down to the river where boat trips are available in the summer.
