Our holiday cottages in south Dordogne provide excellent self catering accommodation.These pretty 18th century limestone and flint cottages adjoin the manor house and provide comfortable rooms.Many beams and period features have been preserved and each cottage has a sun terrace, BBQ and garden furniture.They all enjoy lovely views across meadows and woodlands within the estate. There is ample parking.

The heated,fenced swimming pool is adjacent to the cottages thus enabling supervision of children. The pool measures 11 x 5.6 metres with a shallow end of 1.2 metres increasing to 1.6 and has a salt water filtration system.

The beautiful estate of Les Sarrazinies, 10 minutes north of Le Bugue in the Perigord Noir, is set in 65 acres of woodlands and meadows and guests can enjoy peace and tranquility walking, exploring and watching the abundant wildlife. For the ornithologist, your binoculars are a must. Twenty seven different birds including kingfishers and buzzards were spotted by one lady! And we have resident barn owls which make an appearance every evening.

For the botanist wild flowers, including orchids, can be found from early spring, and there are many tracks for walkers and cyclists.

We have four mens and two ladies bikes, a football field with goal posts, badminton net, table tennis, table football and a dart board (bring your own darts if you are a serious player).

Les Sarrazinies also has a two hole practice golf range (bring your own clubs) and a lake stocked with tench, carp, perch and bream. Please bring your own rods and barb-free hooks.

The swimming pool is adjacent to the cottages and measures 10 x 5 meters, with a shallow end of 1.2 meters going to 1.6 meters.The pool has a hydrotherapy unit and an interior light for night time swimming -very pleasant on hot nights.

For the children, we have fishing in the lake and walks in woods and meadows which extend to 65 acres. There are also 2 practice golf holes.

Downstairs: bright, comfortable living room with separate kitchen and dining area fully equipped for 6 people. Two shower rooms with large shower cubicle, vanity unit, basins and two toilets.

Upstairs: Twin bedrooms, one having a double bed, the other twin beds. Ample hanging and drawer space.There is use of a washing machine in a communal utility area.
