'The Cottage' has sole use of the large (12m x 6m) swimming pool and is set within the grounds of the main house in walled gardens and orchard at the end of a little lane.

'The Cottage' has a large lounge with dining area, DVD player and Freeview English TV. Fully equipped integrated kitchen with Washer/Dryer, Dishwasher, Fridge with Icebox, Oven, Hob and Microwave Oven. Stairs to 2 large Double Bedrooms and Bathroom with Shower Cabin.

All Towels, including Poolside Towels and Bed linen are included together with a generous welcome pack and supplies of washing powders liquids etc.. There are quality sun beds, a Barbeque and garden furniture for al-fresco dining.

We have a large GamesBarn with Table Tennis, Table Football, Darts etc.

Just 3km from the River Dronne and the mediaeval Village of Bourdeilles and 14km from the ancient island town of Brantome (The Venice of The Perigord).

Bourdeilles, with its C13th Palace, Chateau and C15th Bridge has many amenities including a small supermarket, boulangerie, restaurants and pavement cafes.

Brantome has a busy weekly market and boasts a Benedictine Abbey and an C11th bell tower. There is a wide selection of Bars, Restaurants, shops and Banks.

There are many Chateaux open for visits nearby and the prehistoric caves at nearby Villars are a must see.

Canoeing, Cycling, Climbing and Walking are very popular locally and Wildlife abounds.
