The cottage which can sleep 5 in one large double, one large twin, to which can be added an extra single bed if required. The cottage is set in its own private garden with an above ground pool, and is just 10mins from the bustling town of Thiviers.

Dordogne Cottage near Thiviers with pool sleeps 5.Dordogne Stone Farm Cottage built in 1839, recently renovated to a high standard retaining its oak beams and original features, is south facing and is totally independent with its own  private gated entrance, large parking area and  large garden. It is very spacious, and has two large bedrooms, one double, and one twin to which can be added an extra single bed if required.

The lounge/dining room is 6mt x 6mt and has been newly furnished with two settees, Freeview English TV ,DVD, radio, books and games, there is also a wood burner for the colder evenings.

The separate newly fitted kitchen has french doors to the outside and contains, built in electric oven, and a gas hob, dishwasher, Fridge, microwave. In the cave underneath the house is a washing machine.

The bathroom, also newly installed contains bath over which is a thermostatic shower, a vanitory unit and WC.

The Cottage is set in it own large private garden with an above ground pool 5mt x 1.2 deep to cool down in with sun beds and for the younger children swings, table tennis, badminton, 3/4 Snooker Table, swing ball and it is all surrounded by 5 acres of the owners land with views to die for. For nature lovers we have deers, foxes, wild boars which can be spotted from the terrace or the garden.

*The cottage is available all year as it has Oil Fired Central Heating, which is available from October to May on request with a supp. of 40 euros a week. Wood for the Wood Burner will be provided in the summer months should this become necessary.

Please note a 25% non-refundable deposit is required on booking, the balance being payable 6weeks prior to your arrival. Security deposit of 150Euros, payable in cash on arrival which will be refunded on your departure once the cottage has been checked by the owner. Your travel insurance should include the appropriate cancellation cover, and public liability.
