French gite holidays in Dordogne near Nontron .The Villa Cara gite is on the edge of a tiny hamlet in the Parc Naturel Regional Perigord-Limousin,this is a beautiful tranquil part of the area, with its scenic beauty and wildlife. It is a perfect location within easy reach of all the famous towns and prehistoric sites of the Dordogne. This area is a birdwatcher's delight with more than 50 species to be seen, from the exotic hoopoe to buzzards.

For those of you who are walkers, one of France's prettiest "grand randonnees" runs close by our home and there are many other delightful walks from the door. It is also superb cycling area and bicycles are provided at the property. There is also a games room.
