This is the most recent of our barn conversions, Lys has been lovingly renovated and has wonderful views from the mezzanine room, over the local vine- yards and countryside.

When it has been possible we have exposed the beautiful original stonewalls and used the original beams to create some outstanding features.

Lys is perfect for a couple ,two people. We have comfortably furnished the lounge area, and included a TV, DVD player. hifi., DVD's, books and games. The kitchen / dining room is open plan, the kitchen is modern and fully equipped with washing machine, dishwasher, fridge, cooker and microwave. French doors outside to a very private decked patio with BBQ and garden furniture.

The main bedroom is on the L shaped mezzanine floor. There is a comfortable sofa where, in the evening, you can enjoy the views across to the illuminated church at Puy Notre Dame. We also have a cot, which can be divided off by a screen.

This restored former barn, is nestled amongst vineyards surrounded by lovely countryside, fields filled with sunflowers, maize and vines which provide a wonderful backdrop to this glorious area in the Parc Nationale. Yet we ar eonly only 5 minutes from Doue la Fontaine and 15 minutes from stunning Saumur with its fabulous romantic chateau and magical Loire River. The beaches of the Vendee are within easy driving distance.

To get to us, we are within easy driving distance of the ferry ports and the option, of flying with low cost airlines, into Poitiers or Tours.

Les Fleurs comprises of three gites in a private courtyard and set in a tiny hamlet just a short drive from a boulangerie selling yummy bread and cakes. Only 5 minutes from a huge supermarket.
