Peyret is a charming old house , very quiet and private, with garden all the way around, set on its own high up amid fields and woods in the heart of unspoiled Gascony. There are wonderful views in every direction.

You can be silent or as noisy as you wish, be idle in a sunlounger or active in the pool or playing games outside or ping - pong in the open barn. You can listen to music from the music centre or play the piano, browse the many books, bird watch with our binoculars, play board games , watch T.V.

The kitchen has a magnificent Bocuse double oven so cooks can have fun. The house has two very large living rooms downstairs and a large kitchen/diner, a laundry room and w.c.. Two staircases lead up to 5 bedrooms plus an alcove room, a shower room and a bathroom. In winter the house is centrally heated and you can enjoy a log fire.

Outside you can sit in the shade or in the sun; there are tables for eating outside and a barbecue.

If you can tear yourself away there are many small bastide villages to explore, the towns of Auch and Mirande, and further afield Toulouse, the Pyrenees (magnificent walking) and the Atlantic coast (warm rollers and huge sandy beaches).
