LES ROSSIGNOLS is a delightful old farmhouse with outbuildings in the small village of Saint Projet. A grocery shop ( fresh bread ) is just a leisurely stroll away. 3 km to the west is the historic village of Le Vigan with all amenities: butcher, baker, hairdresser, supermarket, doctor, pharmacy.7km beyond Le Vigan is Gourdon with excellent shops, restaurants, supermarkets, sidewalk cafes and a weekly market.

Saint Projet is in between the rivers Dordogne and Lot. Surrounded by beautiful countryside with easy access to chateaux, prehistoric caves, vineyards and fortified towns with famous names like Rocamadour, Domme, Saint - Cirq - Lapopie and Sarlat.

Canoeing, fishing, riding,tennis, aqua parcs and golf are all close by or perhaps a boat trip or suntanning on the riverside beaches is more your style. Ramblers will be delighted with the countryside.

ACCOMMODATION

Set in 2 acres of completely fenced in and well maintained gardens is your private swimming pool ( 8 meter x 4 meter and Roman steps ) with a ' Jet stream ' ideal for energetic swimmers or a relaxing massage. Underwater lighting makes it a joy to have a late night swim under a star studded sky.

The property , adjacent to the owners accommodation - but very private - has recently been renovated, retaining original stone walls and beams. On the first floor it sleeps 4 comfortably ( 1 twin - 1 double bedroom ) 2 en suite shower rooms/ toilets and hand basins. There is a single bed on the mezzanine and an extra bed in one of the bedrooms to accommodate 6 people. The spacious ground floor is open plan with stairs leading up to the first floor and French windows overlooking the garden. A sitting area with satellite t.v., dining area and fully equipped kitchen area ( dishwasher, washing machine, cooker/oven, fridge/freezer, microwave and usual range of small electrical appliances )

There is a lawned area outside the French windows for al fresco meals and the swimming pool ( unfenced ) is well set back from your accommodation.

Centrally heated for out of season lets.
