Luxury holiday Chalet with pool, sleeps 4 near Gourdon. Set in 5 acres of countryside with magnificent views, this comfortable chalet has been recently fully renovated and is a perfect setting for a relaxing holiday. This spacious 4 berth chalet has 2 bedrooms, bathroom, utility room with washing machine and ironing facilities, fully fitted kitchen, a large open plan lounge with satellite television, dvd player, and large dining area with 2 patio doors opening onto a large south facing sun-deck, overlooking the surrounding countryside with lovely views. Outside the chalet there are garden furniture, sun loungers,and a beautiful shaded area beneath oak trees where you can enjoy a glass of wine and watch the amazing sunsets. During the day there are many walks and wildlife to discover, deer, squirrels, butterflies and wild birds,and in the evenings admire the stars that cover our night sky`s in this region. Separated by oak and chestnut woods you can also follow the pathway to our unique holiday park, as it is only open to our residents and is not a commercial site it is very quiet. All the facilities are available to you during your stay. We have a lovely 15m x 7m walk-in swimming pool, petanque, play area, library, and private clubhouse, and if you want to relax and not worry about preparing your dinner, you are welcome to join us at one of our special evenings and sample our delicious food, in a warm and friendly atmosphere.

Although it is secluded it is central to many tourist attractions, just 5 minutes drive to our nearest village Le Vigan, which caters for all your needs, bakers, mini supermarkets, butchers, chemist, bars, restaurants, and hairdressers. The bastide town of Gourdon is a 10 minute drive which has the larger supermarkets and many shops, restaurants, and weekly markets. Just 30 minutes drive to the medieval town of Sarlat, and 20 minutes to Souillac.We are 1 hour 30 minutes from all airports, Bergerac, Rodez, Llimoges, Toulouse, and this year a new airport is opening near Brive, which is a 40 minutes drive away.

Activities :
The Lot region is renown for its Cahors wine, foi gras, walnuts, markets selling their local produce and their wonderful cheeses. Around every corner there are no many beautiful historical places to visit, Rocamadour, which is the 2nd most visited site in France, Domme, Monpazier, St Cirq La Poppy, Souillac, and Sarlat. You can experience canoing down the Dordogne, horse riding, fishing, prehistoric caves, chateaux and vineyards, just a few of the many things to do while you are on holiday.
