The house is on the outskirt's of a small tranquil village,in the midst of the vineyard's and sunflower's.The cottage's are part of a Maison De Maitre, dating from the 1790's and set in 1 acre of secluded garden's with fruit tree's to the rear, and a pretty courtyard to the front.The house itself still has many of the original feature's, wooden floor's, beautiful staircase and also the original wine vat's etc.A warm welcome await's you, with all accomodation to a very high standard and fully furnished, with all room's being a considerable size. Inclusive are bedroom's en suite, lounge with English and French television, fully equipped kitchen.On arrival there will be a welcome pack, wine, cheese, bread, tea, coffee, etc. local village shop's include a boulongerie, epicerie,post office, pharmacy, doctor's, hairdresser, tabac with bar and excellent restaurant.( 800 metres ) Riverside Cognac the main shopping area, and local supermarket's are 6/8 min's away. There is a large swimming pool, with sun bed's, patio area, barbecue area, boule's, bike's, game's, video's, C.D. player/radio, with towel's and bedding provided,  baby cot & high chair.

With lot's of cognac and wine tasting in the area, visit our local village cognac and pineau house, the tour is excellent with lot's of information as well as tasting.Also take time out to visit our local business with a wide variety of gift item's, ceramic's, tapestry's, pottery etc.The coastal area's are ( 40 min's ) away, the principal town's within easy reach, are Angouleme, Cognac, Rochefort, Saintes, La Rochelle,and Bordeaux with many more. On offer with a qualified fitness instructor will be cycling route's, walking route's and jogging ( also personal fitness training can be arranged ) , or if you prefer something a little more leisurely, try a tour by horse and carriage with a local artisan.
