Le Petit Sorin house is set in almost three acres of meadows and trees in a valley in the heart of the French countryside. It is surrounded by sun drenched vineyards and fields full of sunflowers, meandering streams, tranquil woodlands, and beautiful lakes where you can fish or swim. The area is ideal for cycling, golf, horse riding and walking. (The escaping Cockleshell Hero's passed close by us!) All this combines to make our house the perfect holiday destination to relax in, and let the stresses and strains of life just float away.

Our Charentaise house was formerly a Coaching Inn and still retains the stables, part of the old forge and the huge garages where the coach would enter for the horses to be changed. Later it was a cognac distillery, and the old alambic is still in place.

The accommodation has three bedrooms, (one double with en-suite shower room, one triple, and one twin). Also lounge, ( 6mtrsx5mtrs ) very large kitchen/diner, and 2 bathrooms. Sleeps up to 8. Cot and high chair, are available, there is a washing machine dishwasher, microwave, electric toaster and kettle. It has its own patio furniture barbecue and sun shade. This area is reported to be the second sunniest in France with it’s own micro climate. Our modern pool, ( approx. 10m x 5m) plus roman steps, is also very welcome and a favorite with children and adults alike.

All bedding, bathroom towels, tea towels, gas and electric are included in the price. There is also a quality welcome pack for you when you arrive. We are two miles from the village of Leoville, which has a butcher and general store, also bread/patiserrie shop or five miles from the nearest town where the supermarket is open on a Sunday morning.
