There are many places of interest to visit such as Cantal Mountains, Tours de Merle, region renowned for friendly people, good food, sightseeing & activity holidays.This is a totally unspoilt picturesque area, a perfect holiday location. There are weekly markets in Argentat and in July & August there is an evening market at Monceaux (just a few minutes up the road) where you can buy your supper at the market, have it cooked for you on the village barbecue & sit & eat it at long tables set out by the locals and enjoy the live entertainment a very enjoyable evening! Tulle, Brive, Beaulieu, Rocamadour, Lascaux Caves, Gouffre de Padirac etc. and local activities include canoeing, fishing, horse-riding, walking, golf, hang-gliding, para-gliding etc.

The spacious stone farmhouse was newly restored in 2002 with 5 bedrooms (4 en-suite). One of these bedrooms en-suite is on the ground floor, large beamed lounge & dining room 39.5’ x 18’ with a huge open stone fireplace, furnished with new comfortable settees/armchairs to seat 12 people. In the dining area there is a large farmhouse style dining table & 12 chairs. The fully fitted new oak kitchen 15’ x 15’ with electric oven & hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge, freezer & is well equipped with ample crockery, utensils & cutlery. There is a second dining table in the kitchen with 4 chairs. Terracotta tiled floor throughout the ground floor. There are 2 cellars. Cellar 1 has stairs leading down from the sitting room with washing machine, Dryer, 2 extra fridges & telephone.

There are 4 bedrooms & 3 bathrooms/shower rooms on the 2nd floor. All bedroom & bathroom doors are lockable.

2 doors from the lounge & dining area open onto a south-facing balcony complete with patio furniture & barbecue. Steps lead down to garden & pool. The garden comprises of a play area, vegetable, herb & flower garden, barn, outbuildings & bread oven.

The superb floodlit swimming pool installed in 2002 measures 11.5m x 4.5m including roman end. For safety the pool has been fenced from the rest of the garden with a lockable gate. It has an automatic robot cleaner giving crystal clear water. There are sun loungers around the pool area.
