The Property

Set in tranquil surroundings, is an old farmhouse and part of the adjoining barn which dates back to the 19^{th century} converted and renovated to a very high standard in 2005 to form the present dwelling, constructed in locally quarried red and yellow stone with a tiled roof, in the traditional architectural style of the Perigord with private garden and exclusive use of an exceptional 11x 5 meter fresh water swimming pool (no chemicals). There is also a boule pitch and a games room with table tennis. There is an outside badminton court with raquets and net. Also another bat game and ball and a volley ball.

Ground floor

fully fitted kitchen/dining room, the kitchen area is equipped with all modern facilities with an adjoining dining area with a table large enough to seat 10 people comfortably, a large fireplace with a cast iron log burner. There is a split level day room with comfortable lounge furniture. There is satellite TV (freeview)  with DVD  with access to the downstairs bathroom and separate toilet also from this area there is an open plan staircase to the upper floor

Upper floor.

Here we find four good sized bedrooms two with twin beds and two with double beds, A cot is available on request.; two bathrooms and a large open plan landing for that quiet moment with a book or a game of chess. The two double bedrooms give separate access to a balcony that has a staircase to the garden. The house has been completely renovated to a very high standard retaining much of the old world charm with exposed beams and stonework where appropriate but modern amenities where needed. During the restoration of the house the latest insulation was used throughout to keep the property cool in the summer and with minimal heating warm in the winter. All internal stud walls have been installed with acoustic insulation. All pool loungers’ garden furniture and Bar B/Q available. Bed linen and towels are supplied (not pool towels). No pets. No smoking inside is respectfully requested.
