Les Bourrus offers comfortable and very spacious self catering accommodation all year round, we cater for couples or family holidays in a safe child- friendly environment, with entertainment for all ages, table tennis- bikes-dart board-ball games- B B Q- or feed the fish in the large pond which is fenced.

This glorious house dates back to 1880 and comprises of 2 large family bedrooms which have king size beds and a single bed in each room, 1 double room, with a possibility of another double bed if required. Bedding and towels provided.Cots available if required.

Ground floor

The Kitchen units are white with plenty of storage space. Everything we could think of has been provided in sufficient quantities for the number of guests. There is a white Belfast sink and cupboard with cleaning equipment. Built in pantry style cupboard. Calor gas cooker, kettle, toaster, fridge, microwave, baby bottle sterilizer, steam iron, ironing board, vacuum cleaner and automatic washing machine.Tiled floor and oak beamed ceiling, pine table and bench style seating.

Beyond the kitchen there is access to the ground floor bathroom which has a cast iron bath with shower fitting on the taps, bidet, and sink, tiled floor and walls .There is a bathroom cabinet and towel rails. Window with shutters to the back of the house.

Lounge area , here we have a tiled floor throughout and an original open fireplace with old iron dog-grate.This is to compliment the central heating. There is a large two seater settee, an armchair and pouffe. Antique pine cupboard, table with television (French channels only), radio, cd player, built in storage seating to recess of fire. Original oak beamed ceiling and wooden paneling on the walls.

Through the ground floor lounge is the Dining room which has a large extending table that will seat eight when fully open. High chairs are also available. This large room also contains a sideboard, a two seater settee, and an armchair and small coffee table. Play area for children with a selection of toys and games. Tiled floors and beamed ceiling. There are two sets of double doors which open out to the side of the property and overlook the enclosed fenced pond.

Here is the first family bedroom the "Sunflower room" with entrances from both front and patio area with doors and shutters and the hallway. It has a newly tiled floor with scatter rugs and an ornamental fireplace. We provide a King size bed with bedside cabinets, and a single bed. There is a chest of drawers and lamp. Large wardrobe and dressing table,chair and built in shelved cupboard containing spare bedding if required. Baby changing table and mat.

1 Double bedroom with a double bed and bedside cabinets and chests of drawers and lamp (ceiling socket). Beamed ceiling, wardrobe shelf and shuttered window overlooking front paved area.

Second family bedroom "The Poppy Room" with an entrance from the main hallway, through shuttered doorway overlooking the front paved area and garden and other access through the adjoining double bedroom (no separate corridor available). There is the original terracota tiled floor with scatter rugs, a beamed ceiling, a beautiful morroccan style pine bed with bedside table and lamp. There is a single bed with pine bedside cupboard and lamp. Also small starter bed for toddlers. Solid oak shelving cupboard with doors. Double wardrobe and antique pine table with chair.

First Floor

The first floor is one huge lounge, play area, with wooden floorboards and a tiled area with tables and chairs. It has a traditional beautifully beamed original oak roof to admire with a glass of wine... if you wish. There are cast iron radiators for the central heating. There are wonderful views over the local country side. For your comfort here there is a three seater sofa, a two seater futon and chair. Coffee table, bookshelves and a sideboard contains a selection of books and family games.Relax and enjoy this family area

The house has a double access graveled pathway (offering plenty of space for parking).

A large enclosed pond (fenced off for safety) you can fish and feed the fish in the evenings.

There are a number of outbuildings, the largest provides a games room with table tennis, darts, and space for football, boules, badminton etc. The other buildings house a wood store, a large walk-in fridge (for extra food and drink!) garage available if required.

There is also a storage area for patio furniture, parasols, barbeque and a selection of children's outdoor toys including a large paddling pool.

To the front of the house is a large patio area giving you an ideal opportunity for relaxing and soaking up the sunshine.
